For nearly two months Kharkivens will be able to join all-Ukrainian charitable action “Divosertse” which will raise one million hryvnias for the Scientific-Practical Medical Center for Pediatric Cardiology and Cardiac Surgery.
This is a unique medical institution. The specialists who operate children with complex heart defects in the first hours after birth. Today, according to the results of cardiac care, Medical Centre reached the level of the best specialized clinics of the world. The lethality level is 0.95% while in the leading European clinics this level is 4%.
According to the World Health Organization (WHO), about 5000 children are born with congenital anomalies of the cardiovascular system each year in Ukraine. About 40% of these children from the first days of the life are in a critical condition. The mortality rate with congenital heart defects is 80%. About 40% of children with congenital heart diseases die before the age of 1 month. However, most of these children can be saved if operate them in time. Such operations are performed in Ukrainian Scientific-Practical Medical Center for Pediatric Cardiology and Cardiac Surgery.
Together with the trade network “Foxtrot” and with the support of the charity fund “Open Hearts” Philips launches charity campaign “Divosertse” aimed to collect one million hryvnias by New Year for the purchase of vital equipment for the salvation of children with heart diseases in the Center for Pediatric Cardiology and Cardiac Surgery. The “ambassador” of the program became a well-known Ukrainian designer Victoria Gres who specially designed “divosertse” – a symbol of charity event “Divosertse.”
With every purchase of technologies “Philips” in the trade network “Foxtrot” company will transfer 50 hryvnias to the moneybox for the purchase of equipment. In gratitude for the contribution each buyer will receive the symbol of charity “divosertse” – designer’s souvenir from Victoria Gres.
