Despite being near-front zone, the Kharkiv region is a stable region which is safe for investment, as Deputy Chairman of the Kharkiv Regional State Administration (KRSA), Julia Svetlichnaya stated at the meeting with the French ambassador. The KRSA considers agriculture, education, and high technology as the most promising fields for international co-operation.
“Quite a lot of scientific researches require commercialization, and today we set out to present it for international partnership and bring them to life,” – Svetlichnaya said.
“We are going to arrange an investment meeting of French business representatives and Ukrainian government at the end of November in France, and in early next year Isabelle Dumont, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the French Republic in Ukraine, again plans to visit Kharkiv.” – Julia added.
“Perhaps, by that time we would have achievements to boast and sign investment projects or contracts directly on the forum that would be profitable for both your business partners and ours. France makes a lot of efforts in order to support Ukraine,” – Isabelle Dumont announced.
Julia Svetlichnaya also noticed that last year the Kharkiv export of goods in France increased by 9 times. At the moment 12 Kharkiv enterprises received French investment.
