The personal exhibition of 15-year-old master of sand art Mikhail Zub was opened in the Central Children’s Library. The young author has managed to gain many victories at various festivals including international ones.
Michael Zub engaged in sand animation about four years. His teachers said that during this time he has created a few dozen of worthy compositions. More than 20 of them are presented on the first solo exhibition of the author. Michael believes that any teenager could be on his place because he is sure that art of sand animation is accessible for everyone.
“I think that my best work is “Sunflowers”. These plants are very beautiful because I made them with colored sand. I created this composition as a gift for my grandmother. She loves sunflowers and grows them,” told the author of the exhibition.
Michael’s teacher Svetlana Telbuh said that the art of sand animation is multifaceted. It starts with simple static pictures that can make even 2-year-old children. The top of mastership is the solo sand show.
At the opening of the exhibition Michael presented to the viewers a series of solo shows which brought him victory at the various festivals including international ones.
The author of the exhibition said that the ideas come to him in different ways. He can find ideas in the book or movie. The idea can come from anywhere. It’s not difficult to become an artist. But it is necessary to achieve how to draw a foolproof composition and make it beautiful.
The works of the young master of sand animation can be seen daily except Saturday in the Central Children’s Library. The exhibition will last until November 15th.
