Kharkiv City Council has ordered the construction and reconstruction of traffic lights for 69.11 million UAH, reports Nashi Groshi referring to the “Journal of Public Procurement”.
Until the end of 2017, the company “Mіskelektrotransservіs” must reconstruct 25 traffic lights at the average price 2.8 million UAH for each. Traffic lights at the crossroads near the metro station “Palats Sportu” (“Palace of Sports”) will cost the most expensive – approximately 5.8 million UAH.
All must be equipped with sound signaling devices, surveillance cameras and motion sensors.
This price is comparable to the price of a three-story house in Kharkiv (5.8 million) or a new S-Class model Mercedes (2.6 million).
