Young people can try themselves as officials in the civil service, service workers, or bartenders, reports Segodnya (RU).
In Kharkiv, it was decided to seek work for youth in an unusual way. During the month, 50 candidates became participants of a new project of the Youth City Council “Take a walk in my shoes”. All participants could intern in three different companies and as a result get a dream job.
Project organizers said its essence is the ability to pass a short-term internship. For six days, applicants acquainted with three professions, a list of which gave 15 companies. Young people could try themselves as officials in the civil service, service workers or bartenders.
“The main objective of the project is career guidance. Secondly, is acquaintance with unpopular professions. By the way, applicants must have selected at least one unpopular profession of the three,” said head of the commission on entrepreneurship and employment of young people at the Youth City Council Jaroslav Burlaka.
According to him, enterprises that participated in the project, from the list will choose trainees who they are interested in, and offer them a job. At least three people are close to getting a job.
Organizers say they will pursue the project in the future, expand the circle of companies and enterprises, and the number of participants.
