Specialists of the Military Medical Clinical Centre of Northern region (Kharkiv), with the start of the anti-terrorist operations, have dealt with 16,100 servicemen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and other military formations that were delivered from the combat zone in the Donbas, reports the press service of Kharkiv Regional State Administration (RU).
“Since the beginning of this year we received about 3,000 ATO participants. I recall that in 2014 in the average daily we received 50-70 people, a quarter of who were in serious condition. Note that military doctors gained invaluable experience over two years in field hospitals or health centers, and now continue to develop their skills,” said the head of hospital Viktor Polishchuk.
According to him, the hospital offers medical treatment for more than 180 ATO participants, 22 of which are wounded, 25 are injured, others have different diseases.
