The total amount of exports to the European Union for the first quarter of 2016 was $1.2 billion, reports “Economicheska Pravda” quoting Deputy Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food Vladislava Rutitska.
According to her, the export of Ukrainian agricultural products to the EU in three months increased by 15.3%, which in monetary terms is almost $155 million.
“The EU’s share in total exports amounted to 37%. This is the second largest exporter of agricultural products among the world’s macro-regions. In the first place for Asian countries,” explains Rutitska.
Ukrainian agricultural products are mainly exported to Spain, Netherlands, Italy, Poland and France.
