Startup of team from Kharkiv National University of Radio Electronics won the “Battle of Universities”, it was reported by the university press center.
Team from KNURE presented “AirSlides” – a browser addon. This web-based service allows you to make interactive presentations (polls, etc.)
Apart from KNURE students and graduates of the Zhukovskiy State Aerospace University “Kharkiv Aviation Institute” (2nd place) and the National Technical University “Kharkiv Polytechnic Institute” (3rd place) also participated in the battle.
Each institution presented 5 projects. Among them: Yo-Yo Power – toy stores the energy, which later can be used to charge any gadget (KhAI), Health Monitor – bracelet which monitors the temperature, pulse, blood pressure and the amount of sugar in the blood. At higher rates, the signal from the device is transferred to the doctor (KhAI), Shop Sales – mobile application that notifies about discounts (KPI), and others.
The battle took place in the format of 3-minute pitches, followed by experts’ questions and valuable advice to the students.
Presented projects were at different stages: some demonstrated a fully working product, others presented just the ideas.
The event was organized by the Investment Startup.Network platform together with the Kharkiv IT Cluster.
