Today at 13:40 the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine confirmed the death of eight citizens of Ukraine, the Ministry’s Consulate Department reported on its Facebook page,
The Foreign Minister of Ukraine Pavlo Klimkin offered condolences to family members of the victims.
Among the victims of the crash was a 25-year-old Kharkiven Anna Sergeeva. She worked in the UAE, according to her friends, about six months ago she was offered a beauty artist job there.
A passenger jet Boeing 737-800 of Flydubai airline crashed on the night of March 19 on the territory of Rostov-on-Don airport during landing, Hromadske TV reported.
According to preliminary version, the plane hooked on the wing for the runway at a second attempt to land. It is not clear what caused the crash but poor visibility and high winds are being considered as a factor.
The aircraft carried out a flight number 981 Dubai – Rostov-on-Don, killing all 55 passengers and seven crew on board. Among the passengers were 18 men, 33 women and 4 children. All the people were killed.
