The winners of the Second All-Ukrainian festival of street art which ended on holidays in Dnepropetrovsk was the Kharkiv team of mixed genres Golden Golem (RU).
The judges gave priority to mixed genres of pantomime and live statues and the prize of 50 000 UAH was presented to Kharkivens Dmitry Mikheyev, Dmitry Vovk and Anton Polyakov.
The audience and judges liked them for their performance “Picture Story”. Team Golden Golem is well-known to visitors of Kharkiv Central Gorky Park (RU) – this is where you’ll find mostly “Picture Story” that the artists performed at the festival.
The second prize and an award of 20 000 UAH got Dnepropetrovsk mime Alexander Glumov, and the third place and 10 000 UAH shared the “living statues” – Alex Stukin from Minsk and Konstantin Ponomarenko from Summy with the same score.
And Dmitry Buyval from Summy won the People’s Choice Award – he received 599 “likes” of more than 1000 at the festival pages in social networks.
The recently created festival has already become a major Ukrainian event in street art.
To choose the best artists among several genres is not an easy task. But the organizers relied on the great experience and professionalism of the jury. The festival was held in two cities Kharkiv and Dnepropetrovsk. Thus, the artists’ talents were judged in both cities.
