Kharkiv again proves its status as a “student capital”, with 25,227 people becoming students for the new term, reports Acting Head of Kharkiv Regional State Administration Yuliya Svetlichnaya.
According to her, among the 25,227 applicants, 60% are citizens of the region; 3,195 people are from the Donetsk, Luhansk regions and the Crimea.
In total, 16,000 people came to the budget form of studying, while 1,774 are IDPs.
In general, according to Svetlichnaya, Kharkiv region ranked among the top three in the number of students who passed the exams on 100 points from 100 possible.
In addition, Kharkiv region ranked fourth in the country for the general level of the passage of external independent evaluation (ZNO).
