The country’s Ministry of Defence is to develop a project for its own IT strategy, informs a report of the Cabinet of Ministers (UK).
The authority plans to establish units for cyber security and cyber defense, and introduce measures for the protection of information and counter technical intelligence in accordance with NATO and ISO / IEC standards, AIN reports (RU).
“The first task is to develop a unified management system. All databases and systems that we have, work separately from each other. It is important to connect them.
“Secondly, we will create an effective operational management system, communication, intelligence and surveillance (C4ISR), as well as the planning system,” explained Defence Ministry to Liga.net. Within the IT strategy will be a datacenter. The cost of the innovations has not been specified.
While the project is in the discussion stage, the Defence Ministry has invited representatives of leading domestic and international IT companies, leading academic and voluntary organizations to provide their vision on the development of strategy.
As AIN reported earlier, hackers broke into the accounts of the National Guard and the Ministry of Defense in social networks. Twitter accounts of both organizations and Instagram profile of the Ministry of Defense were harmed.
