Since the start of 2016, Kharkiv Revenue Service has cancelled 442 licenses for the retail sale of alcoholic beverages and tobacco (283 and 159 respectively), reports the press service of the Main Directorate of the State Fiscal Service in Kharkiv region (UA).
According to authorities, 42 licenses were revoked at the request of law enforcement or citizens for the implementation of alcohol and tobacco products to minors.
Another 400 have been canceled as a result of the termination of activity of the economic entity or following inspections.
Now in the Kharkiv region there are 2964 licensees of retail trade in alcoholic beverages, beer and tobacco products.
BACKGROUND: Since the beginning of 2016, 4166 licenses for the retail trade were issued: alcoholic beverages – 2110, tobacco products – 2056. Budget received almost 34.6 million UAH from license fees.
