Japanese plan to transfer Kharkiv region on alternative fuel

The question of transfer to Kharkiv of heat-generating objects on alternative fuels was discussed at a meeting (RU) of the Kharkiv Regional Municipal Enterprise “Directorate of Infrastructure Development territory” and representatives of the Japanese government agency JICS.

According to the director of the regional department of housing and communal services and infrastructure Sergei Magdisyuk, the region is interested in further cooperation with the JICS.

JICS representatives inspected the objects that are already installed and running, and were satisfied with the results. They assured they will be able to move to the implementation stage of the project.

BACKGROUND: In the first phase of the joint project, Japanese specialists have developed and installed boilers in Dergachi (a city in the Kharkiv region) and a complex for production of fuel pellets in Kupyansk.
