The Chairman of the Kharkiv Regional State Administration (KRSA) discussed major concerns of the region with the Minister of Infrastructure Vladimir Omelyan in Kyiv on May 3, the KRSA press service reported (RU).
Igor Rainin stressed such issues must be addressed at state level, with the repair and maintenance of public roads to be financed from the state budget.
According to him, the regional administration is extremely concerned about the situation on the roads of national importance Chuguyiv-Melovoe, Izum-Slavyansk, Kharkiv-Sumy and others. The head of the region noted the need to begin its repair urgently.
The governor also raised the need to increase technical equipment and the level of funding of State Highway Service of Ukraine. Omelyan assured of all-round support to the KRSA.
