The Control and Disciplinary Committee of the Football Federation of Ukraine deprived Kharkiv’s “Metalist” of the license, the chief editor the Football magazine Artem Frankov reported (RU).
“The representatives of “Metalist” haven’t deigned even to come, so the decision not to issue them a license was made automatically and probably with a slight shrug,” Artem said.
The official decision has not been announced yet, but the final wording may give an answer to the question if the “yellow-blues” could participate in the next season of Ukrainian Premier League.
According to media reports, “Metalist” in several years has run up huge salary arrears and that became the cause of the hard Committee’s decision.
The Kharkiv’s football club even appealed to the public to provide financial assistance to the club.
