Kharkiv IT Cluster has signed a memorandum of cooperation with Simon Kuznets Kharkiv National University of Economics and became an associate partner of the master’s program MASTIS, reports the official website of IT Cluster.
MASTIS is a master’s program in information systems. Its main task is to bring the requirements of the European labor market to native IT-industry, learn to respond to employers’ needs. Seventeen universities and 11 countries are already involved in the project.
According to the project rules, students receive a double diploma with partner universities of Universite Lumiere Lyon 2, up to date information on the management in the field of information systems, acquire practical skills during the mandatory six-month internship in Europe.
Executive Director of the Kharkiv IT Cluster, Nataliia Vinohradska, said the organization is ready to support student initiatives, relevant social union mission and contribute to the development of eco-systems of Kharkiv.
BACKGROUND: Kharkiv IT Cluster on April 8 signed a memorandum on cooperation in the NTU “KPI”.
The project “Creation of a modern master’s program in Information Systems” (MASTIS) was funded by the European Union within the framework of the program ERASMUS+. Authors of the project are teachers of Simon Kuznets Kharkiv National University of Economics and the Universite Lumiere Lyon 2 (France).
