Ukrainian startup wins Swedish contest

Ukrainian service DonorUA won the Swedish competition “Startup Weekend”: Social Innovation held in Stockholm on March 18-20, according to AIN.UA

DonorUA is an automated system that helps to find a blood donor for a few days. Smart filters help the recipient to select donors with the right blood type, Rh factor, place of residence.

Donor_sms Technical director and founder of donor service Udonors, Alexander Krakovetskiy, said that a separate  project was created for the international market.

Startup Udonors can help to solve key issues in Europe – to attract donors who give blood for the first time.

In addition, Kharkivens can join the all-Ukrainian action on blood donation. Events will take place on April 12. BACKGROUND: Startup Weekend includes in its network more than 150 countries and for the entire time of its existence it has helped to gather 23,000 startup commands. Within 54-hour hackathon idea becomes a prototype. Its main task is to validate the idea, get feedback and have fun.
