During this week Kharkivens will have an opportunity to learn more about really successful trials, discuss Internet etiquette, and watch a Czech movie in original version, “YE” bookstore reported (UA).
Kharkiv’s residents can attend a lecture “How to Settle and Win a Lawsuit Amicably” on April 12 at the bookstore (Sumska Street, 3).
“Pretrial settlement of disputes is widely spread in many countries. About 83-85% of disputes are settled with the help of this procedure in the USA, Canada and Netherlands. Meanwhile, it is a new thing for Ukraine,” told us Mykola Sapelkin, the moderator of the meeting.
All interested people in Czech cinema and language are invited to the Czech Thursday. There will be a screening of Into the Clouds We Gaze (K Oblakům vzhlížím; 2014; 66 min.) by Martin Dušek. The movie will be in Czech with Ukrainian subtitles on April 14.
The project “World Around Us” (British Council Ukraine) invites Kharkivens to the discussion entitled Netiquette on April 15. English is the working language (no translation).
“Netiquette or Internet etiquette is the code of behavior, communication and tradition in the world-wide web.The concept is a new element of culture from UseNet and FidoNet networks,” said event moderator Tetyana Rokhmanova.
