Kharkivens won the national charity competition

An annual national competition in the field of charity “Charitable Ukraine – 2015” was held on March 24 at Kyiv’s Mystetskyi Arsenal.

All-Ukrainian charitable fund One Family from Kharkiv received the award in a special category “The best philanthropist in the field of medicine,” the representatives reported on its Vkontakte page (RU).

The fund helps hospitals in the ATO area with medical equipment and medicines. It collects funds to buy medical equipment, bedding, antibiotics, blood pressure monitors and stethoscopes, artificial respirator and other necessary things in treatment and rehabilitation.

Fund’s team regularly sends humanitarian aid to the military, provides legal and psychological support, help with food and manufactured goods to people who stayed in the ATO area.

Other categories included Philanthropist: large, medium and small businesses; Charity event/ program of the year; Philanthropist: children’s or youth organization; Philanthropist: international/ national/regional charity funds; Efficient use of charitable aid; Charity in the media among others.
