The Prosecutor’s office opened criminal proceedings on the fact of illegal distribution of agricultural land by officials of the Kharkiv Regional Administration, reports Mykharkov.info (RU).
According to the prosecutor Andrei Yakovlev, in 2010 officials illegally transferred to private ownership three plots with a total area of about 5 hectares. At the same time about 600 thousand UAH tax from the deal had not been paid to the budget.
The maximum sanction of Part 2, 364 Art. of the Criminal Code (abuse of power with serious consequences) provides from 5 to 8 years of imprisonment.
