Today, on the basis of the Kharkiv Kozhedub Air Force University the nationwide military sports competitions among the power ministries and departments of Ukraine began.
This was reported in the press service of the Eastern department of National Guard of Ukraine.
The team of the National Guard will take part in the competitions together with representatives of Air Forces of Ukraine, penal and fiscal services.
“The squad includes soldiers from the National Guard from all the regional departments. Among them are high-class athletes, students, and fighters of special units. Many of them have combat experience, they have hardened in the ATO area,” said Colonel Alexander Panasenko.
During the opening ceremony of the competition, participants were shown the application technique of unarmed combat used only by enforcement agencies of Ukraine.
For three days athletes will compete in shooting and combat to fight for the victory.
