Kharkiv airport opens eight new flights

Kharkiv international airport is to increase passenger traffic with eight new routes.

The announcement was made by Director General of the International Airport “Kharkiv” Vladimir Vasylchenko.

On March 2 a direct regular flight to Warsaw (LOT) is to begin operation.

Vasil added: “In summer, we will resume flights to Antalya (Turkey); Tivat (Montenegro); Barcelona (Spain); Burgas (Bolganiya); Heraklion and Thessaloniki (Greece), and Larnaca (Cyprus).

“We are now negotiating flights to a number of other locations.”

In 2015, the airport opened flights to Minsk (Belavia); Kutaisi (UIA); Istanbul (Atlasglobal); Tel Aviv (UIA); Amman, Beirut and Baghdad (UM Air).
