The chairman of the Kharkiv Regional State Administration (KRSA) Igor Rainin was invited to give a lecture at Columbia University (New York, USA). About this announced the deputy chairman of KRSA Julia Svetlichnaya.
The deputy chairman noted that the Kharkiv region is of interest for the international community because it is an outpost not only of Ukraine but also of Europe. The USA appreciates the reforms conducted in the region and move in a democratic direction. That is why the chairman of the regional administration was invited to have a speech at Columbia University.
“I hope that Igor Rainin will have the opportunity to give a lecture in the walls of one of the most prestigious US universities. The lecture will be held in early March. The probable topic of the lecture – socio-political and economic situation in the Kharkiv region,” said Julia Svetlichnaya.
According to her, the Kharkiv region came to international cooperation in a new way, and for the universities of the region opened new prospects and opportunities.
