At the moment 63 sportsmen are claiming the Olympic license, and 13 people are pretending on the Paralympic one, while 8 licenses have been already received.

As the head of department for physical culture and sports Konstantin Kurashov reported the Summer Olympics will be held in August 2016 in Rio de Janeiro (Brazil).

“Naturally, we don’t know who of them finally will go to the Olympics, so all the applicants are paid stipends from January to July. Also, the athletes receive funds from their federations and from the regional authorities, so in general they have a certain amount of money that can be used to prepare for the competition,” said Konstantin Kurashov.
