According to the electronic guide IGotoWorld.com Kharkiv National University of Radioelectronics (KNURE) and Yaroslav Mudryi National Law University are in the top 12 most beautiful universities in Ukraine.
The rating indicates that the main building KNURE (architectural monument) gives the impression of majestic buildings. The University was built in 1930 by architect Yakov Steinberg, after World War II the damaged building was restored. Students were involved in this process. University has a monument to an IT-student.
The main building of the Department of Criminology and housing are also considered to be architectural monuments. The unversity was created in 1804 according to the order of Emperor Alexander I and it used to be called Kharkiv Imperial University.
The top 12 most beautiful high schools of Ukraine also includes: Berdyansk State Pedagogical University, Zaporizhzhya National University (ZNU), National University of Kyiv-Mohyla Academy, Ivan Franko National University of Lviv and others.
