Public organization “Line of agreement” with the support of UCBI started a new project “Civil pixel.” Actors-improvisers of the Kharkiv theater “Beautiful flowers” plan to help ATO soldiers to look at their experience from other side.
This practice helps to get rid of negative experience and learn to live civilian life.
ATO participants and their family members first will tell their stories to the actors and they will show them in a few days on the stage. “This form will help those who had trauma to free from heavy internal information,” says the project psychologist Elena Lutsenko.
Within six months, the project will show 5 theater performances. Three of them are in Kharkiv, the other two in Chuguev and Lozova. The first performance is scheduled for mid-February.
Recall last summer, a similar project by NGO “Line of agreement” was held for IDPs. Psychologist of the project says, when a person is released from the accumulated emotions, he has the energy and the potential for something new.
Organizers invite to take part in the project ATO veterans and their families living in the Kharkiv region. To join, please register by phone at + 38 067 577 47 09 (Natalia) or + 38 050 952 13 12 (Olga), or fill out a form.
