The president of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko signed decrees on dismissal of 86 judges for violating the oath, as the head of the state reported on his official website.
Thus, the decree №27 / 2016 dated from January 30th, Poroshenko dismissed three judges of the non-legal verdicts against the activists of the Dignity Revolution. The Supreme Council of Justice decided that the judge of Chervonozavodskiy district court of Kharkiv Denis Chudovsky, judge of Obolon’ district court of Kyiv Yulia Shvachach, and judge of Shevchenko district court of Kyiv Dmitry Kravets during Maidan revolution had violated the oath, and recommended to fire them.
In particular, the Supreme Council of Justice admitted that Chudovsky hasn’t ensured compliance with the principles of independence of judges and failed to provide full and complete investigation of all the circumstances of the cases, finding unreasonable decisions. Moreover, the council decided that Dmitry Kravets performed his duties in bad faith and violated the norms of the legislation.
Also, the Decree №28 / 2016 dated January 30th, the President dismissed for violation of the oath 83 judges of the courts of annexed Crimea.
