Ukrainian-German project eCozy successfully raised funds on a crowdfunding platform Indiegogo in 2014. Now the project has launched a campaign on the German platform seedmatch.de (it is intended to invest in the German startups). Currently eCozy has raised 145.250 euros, and the campaign will last another 44 days. In total the project expects to get about 150-200 000 euros.
ECozy team is working on the system of “smart thermostats” with touchscreen control box, which are attached to the radiators and monitor the temperature. Such a “smart thermostat” has a control center and applications for iOS and Android. The employees of the startup state that this solution can save up to 30% of the payment for heating.
The startup was founded in August 2013. Its founder and CEO Andrey Kholodov is a native of Kharkiv, but for many years has been living in Germany. The startup consists of Ukrainian team and two offices: one is located in Munich (head office, marketing, customer support and R & D) and the second is in Kharkiv (R & D).
