Kharkiven became recipient of Order “Queen Anne “Honour of the Fatherland”

This prestigious award Kharkiven Anna Selezneva was honoured by the Presidium of the international image program “Leaders of the XXI century” with the support of the President of Ukraine. The Gala New Year’s Eve Ball on the occasion of presenting the Orders was held in the Small Mariyinsky Palace in Kiev.

The Order “Queen Anne” is awarded in Ukraine and France – for the actions aimed at the welfare of the people and the state. Anna Selezneva, founder of the Centre of Health and Beauty “Maharaja YOGA & SPA”, student of Iyengar – the man who discovered yoga to the Western world. The award for her was a surprise.

“I hope that this order, this award will help to draw attention to our project. And more people will lead a healthy lifestyle and will be able to build relationships with themselves and with the outside world,” said Anna Selezneva.

Center “Maharaja” has raised about 50 thousand hryvnias for the treatment of children by a charity marathon. For 30 hours of yoga practice with trainers of center marathon was attended by more than 700 Kharkivens. The continuation of the action was the release of unique yoga calendars, all proceeds from the sale will be transferred on the help for children.

This year, the center celebrated its 5th anniversary. During this time, “Maharaja” was attended by almost 15 thousand visitors.

Order “Queen Anne “Honour of the Fatherland” was founded in honor of Princess Anna Yaroslavna, daughter of the Grand Prince Yaroslav the Wise, the Queen of France in the XI century, as a sign of respect to the memory of the Queen and the 1000th anniversary of her birth. The base of the Order was approved by the Decree of the X Congress of scientific and creative unions of Ukraine.
