The night of December 28th to 29th, the mobile operator Vodafone-Ukraine has completed testing equipment for 3G-network as reported by the press service of the company.
“2015 became the year of 3G in Ukraine. It was the launch of 3G networks in the Kharkiv subway in April that commenced the 3G spread throughout the country,” says CEO of Vodafone, Oleg Prozhivalsky.
He said: “The company was able to connect the city ahead of schedule. As a result, subscribers of Vodafone and “MTS Ukraine” now have the access to the high-speed 3G Internet”.

In addition, December 28th mobile operator “Life:)” also announced the official launch of 3G network in Kharkiv: “The official launch of 3G network in Kharkiv is the New Year gift. The opening of the network in Kharkiv depended on conversion of the frequencies from military to civilian use. Now, all of the processes are behind and we are pleased to offer residents of the city the new technology,” said CEO of “Life:)”, Burak Ersoy.
Recall, mobile operator “MTS Ukraine” was rebranded. From October 16th, the telecommunication services are provided by the company as Vodafone.
