On December 30 on the main square of Kharkiv will be opened an ice rink in the open air.
The ice arena with size of 58 by 36 meters started to mount on December 9. Today all lovers to skate around the main New Year tree of the city will have finally a chance to do it.
As said in the company which is the sponsor of Kharkiv ice rink, skating with own skates will be free. For those who do not have skates, there will work rental center. Also, festive lights, northern characters, theme music and Christmas treats will be waiting for visitors.
On the ice rink trainers will help everyone who is going to be on the ice for the first time and who wants to master the art of figure skating.
The ice arena will be opened today at 16.00 p.m. The pupils of Children’s and Youth Sports School of Olympic Reserve and participants of the theater on ice “Fantasia” will perform on the opening of the rink.
To visit the rink will be possible daily from 9.00 to 23.00 during the whole winter.
