Today, on December 21st, the Chairman of the State Border Service of Ukraine a general, Viktor Nazarenko, hand over the keys from Kharkiv service apartments to families of military of the separate Kharkiv aviation squadron, as representatives of the Eastern Regional Department of the State Border Service of Ukraine reported.
Reconstruction of the building with the service accommodation for the guards began few years ago, but because of a lack of funding it was frozen. This year, the works were resumed, and in a short time period the housing was completed. It meets all the requirements, the apartments are equipped with modern heating, moreover, an overall heat counter is set in the house. Each apartment has individual electricity and cold water counters.
The total estimated cost of the project is 9 million 540 thousand UAH. The cost of 1 square meter amounted to 7,216 UAH. 24 families of border guards of the Eastern Regional Department received the keys from the apartments. There are 10 border guards participated the anti-terrorist operation in Donbass among new owners.
