From December 18 to 21 in Kharkiv with the support of the Embassy of Israel in Ukraine will be held training “Theory and practice of psychological assistance to victims of participation in hostilities and to their families”.
According to the Embassy of Israel in Ukraine, training is intended for psychologists, psychiatrists, social workers who are directly involved in work with the ATO participants and communities affected by armed conflict, and in the future they are ready to train their colleagues.
The coaches of the project are Gila Petrova, consulting psychologist, the lead of the groups in the “National Anti-drug and alcohol abuse administration” at the City Hall in Haifa and Moti Pikelner – a social worker, private practice of psychotherapy in Haifa, lecturer and consultant, officer of psychological service of the Israel Defence Forces, reserved major.
Recall that on the account of the bodies of social protection of the population – 3.2 thousand of demobilized ATO soldiers in the Kharkiv region.
