On December 9 Kharkiv businessmen are going to picket under the Verkhovna Rada and demand from Parliament to simplify tax system, stated the president of “Association of Private Employers” Alexander Chumak during a press conference at the “Kharkiv crisis information center”. He said that the new draft of the new Tax Code will impact negatively on small and medium businesses.

“From January 1 we can lose the simplified taxation system. Unfortunately, the project of the Ministry of Finance is a project that won’t reduce the tax burden on small and medium businesses, simplify administration, and will lead to additional expenses,” said Chumak.

On December 7, 2015 was created the Kharkiv regional headquarters of the Coalition in the support of the simplified taxation system.

“We are coordinating our actions with all-Ukrainian coalition in the support of the simplified taxation system. Such headquarters have already been created in Vinnitsa, Kiev, Zaporozhye, Sumy. Our main task – to protect the simplified tax system and achieve the introduction of a three-year moratorium on changes to existing legal standards of the simplified tax system,” said the head of the regional headquarters Alexander Chumak.

To the Kharkiv regional headquarters of the Coalition are already included: Association of Private Employers; Kharkiv IT-cluster; Kharkiv regional branch of the trade union of taxi drivers in Ukraine; Kharkiv union of insurers; Charity Fund “Volunteers of the Interior Ministry” and others.

The entrepreneurs promise that if nobody defer to their opinion, then on December 18 they will organize another rally but this time in Kharkiv, reported Kharkiv anti-crisis information center.

Recall that two variants of the tax system upgrade were proposed in Ukraine. The Ministry of Finance submitted a draft “20-20-20-20” which was called so because of the size of the proposed tax. After that 113 deputies co-legislators introduced to the parliament their bill that was famed for its radical reduction of tax rates.
