Next year it is expected to create more than 16 thousand new jobs in Kharkiv, as the director of the Department of Economics and Municipal Property, Mikhail Fateev, stated at the meeting of Standing Committee on Humanitarian Affairs on December 7th.
According to him, these indicators have been laid down in the program of economic and social development of the city in 2016. In addition, next year it is expected to increase the average monthly salary by 12% and reduce the unemployment rate.
“Recent years this rate has remained less than 1% in Kharkiv. For the moment, the trends which could lead to its increase are not observed in the city’s economy. Furthermore, we expect that in 2016 the unemployment rate to be diminished” Fateev announced.
