Kharkiv research institute was bought by the Dnepropetrovsk company

The Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine provided an enterprise “Promhimsnab” (Kryvyi Rih, Dnepropetrovsk region) for an authorization to purchase shares of “Research institute of technical equipment “Velt” (Kharkiv).

According to the committee, the share fraction of the buyer will guarantee more than 50% of the votes in the supreme governing body of the research institute.

The research institute “Velt” was founded in 1955. The main activity is a development of new technologies and equipment for the specific processes of electric motor manufacture for domestic and industrial purposes.

Special equipment created and manufactured by the institute and its subdivisions is successfully working at various electrical engineering plants in Ukraine, Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan and other countries.
