The press service of the Kharkiv frontier guard detachment summarized the results of 9 months work. More than 4.5 million people and 100 thousand vehicles have officially traveled over the Russian-Ukrainian border. Entry/exit was denied for 5.651 people, 1.139 of which are potentially illegal migrants.
The main reasons for passing restriction:
- absence of a notarized parental consent for transporting the children abroad – 6%
- entry/exit limitations – 11%
- invalid documents – 12%
- purpose of the trip is not confirmed (for foreigners) – 24%
- lack of sufficient financial provision (for foreigners) – 26%
Inspections at the checkpoints revealed one episode of usage another person’s passport, 12 forged ones and 650 invalid IDs.
