On October 2nd, the first Ukrainian cultural and educational festival of young painters and sculptors “Feldman Art Park” was launched. It will last till the 30th October.
The author and initiator of the festival is the International Charity Foundation “Alexander Feldman Fund”. The organizer of a large-scale art fair is the British company Red Art Galleries. General press partner of Feldman Art Park is “Focus Media”. Alexander Feldman, the founder of the foundation, will open the festival himself.
The project is implemented on the territory of Feldman Ecopark, a total area of which is about 140.5 hectares. Territory designated for the festival will be about 10 hectares.
The guests of Feldman Ecopark will have an opportunity to see an exhibition of works by young painters and sculptors, listen to lectures about art, visit the open-air cinema, workshops, do yoga and other activities.
A hundred young talented painters and sculptors will show the public their works in such art forms as painting, drawing and sculpture. An international commission of experts will select the winner in each direction, who will receive a grant for an internship in the best European art residences.
“The festival of Ukrainian painters and sculptors Feldman Art Park aims to support young art in Ukraine, education for children and young people, creation of special programs of art therapy for people with special needs, popularization of Ukrainian culture in the country and abroad,” says Alexander Feldman, philanthropist and founder of the Foundation.
