A well-known Ukrainian businessman held a meeting with students of O.M.Beketov National University of Urban Economy in Kharkiv on April 2 where he shared with them a recipe of a successful business.

“The best investment for you today is knowledge. It is necessary to acquire knowledge all life long. Every day you have to try to date with innovations. It is impossible to do business without constant self-education. I figured it out from my own experience,” Yaroslavsky said at the meeting with students even though he admitted skipping double pairs in his day, times.kh.ua (RU) reported.

According to the businessman, creativity and talent is more important for a future businessman than a start-up budget.

“I didn’t have a father like Rothschild or Rockefeller, I didn’t have initial capital, I was just like you, I had just some sort of jacket, went into the world and has made money … If you are a talented person, I am sure that you will be able to create a business from scratch. For a man of initiative no support is needed,” stressed Yaroslavsky.

The businessman believes the main criterion for the success is a result, and money is considered as a tool to achieve the goal.

“Money for me is a tool. For example, Kharkiv would never have received Euro 2012 without money. It’s so clear an example of a combination of money and management, I think, it could become a classic one,” Yaroslavsky opined.
