Today, on March 23, the President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko will carry out a working visit to Kharkiv.
According to Kharkiv Regional State Administration (KRSA) press service (RU), Poroshenko will arrive together with USA Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador in Ukraine Geoffrey Pyatt.
Poroshenko will visit Kharkiv Institute of Physics and Technology (EN), where with the support of the United States are working on the construction and the launch of a research facility “The source of neutrons based on subcritical assembling, which is controlled by a linear electron accelerator”.
After that, the president will visit Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs of Ukraine (EN), where will be held demonstrations of new Ukrainian police officers trained with the help of American instructors. There Poroshenko is planned to make comments to the press.
The President will also attend Morozov Machine Building Design Bureau, where design and produce modern armored vehicles. Here the head of state will transmit the lot of equipment to the military.
The last site on the agenda is a visit of a leading turbomachinary enterprise “Turboatom”.
