The sixth and largest cottage village for the ATO participations will be built in the Chuguevsky district of the Kharkiv region, the chief specialist of the State Service for Veterans’ Affairs in the Kharkiv region Yuri Korsunov reported.

This village will join the list of existing towns – Korotych, Olkhovka, Ruska Lozovaya, Liptsy, which were also allocated for military men.

“The Ministry of Defence in 2016 provided 1 billion UAH for the construction of housing for military personnel. Part of the funds can be used for the construction of a cottage village in Chuguevsky district,” said Korsunov.

It is worthy to note that since November 2015 almost 1500 ATO participants received land on the territory of the Kharkiv region.

In total, there are more than 3,000 mobilized people in the region, and according to the law, all of them have the right to obtain land.
