According to the organizers, the project “Living Library” works in the format of meetings with ordinary people. At the “Living Library” books are the people to whom the society has some stereotypes, and “reading” takes place in the form of communication.

On Sunday, February 7th, the project will celebrate its first year. The slogan of the festival is “people are more than labels”.

“We invite you to learn how to live without social stereotypes. To do this, as “books” we invited: a Buddhist, LGBT couple, Gestalt therapist, eco-settlers, policeman, Mormon, pickup master, tattoo artist, dog handler, homeless, esoteric and others” told us the organizers.

In addition to the traditional reading of “living books”, performances of the theater, band “Dostoevsky”, Artem Polyakov and birthday cake are waiting for guests. Also as part of the “Living Library” once again the action “Bookcrossing” for the exchange of paper books will take place.
