The incidence rate of influenza and acute respiratory viral infection (ARVI) in Kharkiv last week was 10.6 cases per 10 thousand people population at the epidemic threshold of 27.1 cases, as the press service of the Department of Health reported yesterday, on January 18th.
It was noted that last week, 2348 people came down with the influenza and ARVI, which is 101 people less than in the period January 4-10th.
According to the department, at the same time in the inpatient departments of hospitals flow of patients with acute respiratory infections and pneumonia has increased. If for January 4-10th 175 people with ARVI were hospitalized, last week this number increased to 248. With pneumonia the week before last 104 people were taken to the hospitals, last week already 208 patients got this disease.
At the same time, Kharkiv region takes the last place in the country in terms of morbidity rates according to the Center of influenza and ARVI of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine.
