On January 4th the Kharkiv region delegation headed by the Vice Chairman of Kharkiv Regional State Administration (KRSA) Julia Svetlichnaya arrived on a visit to China, as the press service of KRSA reported.
The Kharkiv delegation consists of the first deputy chairman of the Kharkiv Regional Council Victor Kovalenko, the President of the Kharkiv Chamber of Commerce Victor Zverev, and representatives of business circles of the region.
The delegation will stay in China until January 11th and hold meetings with their Harbin (Heilongjiang Province) and Beijing colleagues.
In particular, on January 6th the representatives of the both Chambers of Commerce signed a cooperation agreement which would expand business relationships between the leading enterprises of the two regions and deep joint foreign trade.
Kharkiv delegation decided to meet with business representatives of Heilongjiang Province to establish direct contacts with local entrepreneurs. Kharkivens will present economic and investment potential of the region and discuss with the Chinese side the prospects of attracting foreign investments to the region.
In addition, during the stay in China, the representatives of Kharkiv region will visit IV winter Harbin Science and Engineering Fair, hold official and working meetings with the leadership of the People’s Government of Heilongjiang Province. Also, the members of the delegation will meet with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ukraine to China Oleg Demin.
