In an interview with TV channel «News One» the chairman of the Kharkiv Regional State Administration (KRSA) Igor Rainin stated that 100 million UAH was invested in energy efficiency in Kharkiv for the year 2015.
Igor Rainin noted that KRSA pays great attention to the introduction of energy efficient technologies in the region and dominated in the country in this sphere according to this indicator.
“The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine introduced the rating evaluation of the socio-economic development of territories with about 6 directions and 27 indicators. One of the six directions is energy efficiency. According to preliminary data, Kharkiv region took the first place in this direction. We have invested more than 100 million UAH this year in energy-efficient technologies and reduced the gas consumption by 15-20%. Last year the decrease of gas consumption was 10%,” said Igor Rainin.
The Chairman of KRSA noticed thatthe region operated a program of mini-projects “Together into the future”. According to this program, co-financing is allocated from the regional budget including the funds for insulation of buildings of social and medical infrastructure, replacement of windows for energy-efficient windows and equipment for boiler stations which work on alternative fuel types.
