NATO will retrain Kharkiv miritary men

About 800 former military men of the Armed Forces of Ukraine will be retrained under NATO program 2015, as a program manager of the NATO Liaison Office in Ukraine, Christopher Staudt, reported.

“This year our programs will cover 700-800 people all over Ukraine in 26 cities. The classes will be held in military camps or in premises belonging to various organizations. For example, trainings will took place at the Yavorov training area, in the cities of Kyiv, Kharkiv, Mykolayiv, Odessa, and others,Christopher stressed.

The language courses group will consist of up to 16 people, economics courses group will include up to 23 military men, IT technologies courses will be attended by up to 12 people.

“In general, we will hold 14 thematic courses. Among our partners there are British Council Ukraine, Bavarian home (Odessa), the League of Officers of Ukraine. In other words the state universities, specialized companies, and non-governmental organizations supported our program,” he said.

The retrain programs budget for the current year is about 540 thousand euros.
