On September 24th, the Charitable Fund of Borys Kolesnikov announced the opening of the All-Ukrainian educational contest “Aviator-2016”, the announcement occurring during the presentation press conference in Kiev. Students of technical specialties of aviation can visit the Farnborough International Aviation Forum in London in the summer of 2016.
The purpose of the contest is to support students and to encourage talented young people to travel to the International Air Show in Le Bourget, Paris and the Farnborough International Airshow.
This year, students will participate in six stages:
- Test on the history and theory of aviation
- Testing of technical sciences
- Test of English language
- The business case decision
- Protection of motivational presentation
100 winners will be selected, according to the results of the contest, who, then, in the summer of 2016, are to visit Farnborough International Aviation Forum in London. During a trip to the specialized exhibitions, future aviators communicate with specialists, get acquainted with the achievements of the world aviation industry, and are amongst the first to see the trends of the industry.
Students of technical specialties of aviation can register in the “Aviator-2016” on the Foundation’s website until the 20th of October.
Recall that the contest “Aviator” is realized via the Charitable Foundation “Boris Kolesnikov,” which is already in its fifth year of operation in a row. Each year, students from the Kharkiv National Aerospace University N.Y. Zhukovsky take part in the competition.
