Kharkiv National University of Radio Electronics (KNURE) and Blekinge Institute of Technology (Karlskrona, Sweden) will develop a master’s program in the field of Cyber Security, as reported the website of KNURE. The program was developed within the framework of the project Tempus ENGENSEC in which the Blekinge Institute of Technology has the project grantees. The project has been funded by the European Commission.
In addition, the first vice-rector of the Swedish university has agreed to develop and launch a new dual degree program based on the current developments of international projects. The next step – is conduct of advanced negotiations and the formation of a fundamentally new program for the Faculty of Telecommunications and Instrumentation.
The main objective of the ENGENSEC project is to create new Master’s program in area of IT Security as a response on current and emerging cybersecurity threats by educating the next generation experts in this area, thus supporting development of e-based economics, life and society in partner countries.
The ENGENSEC proposal addressed to challenges in information society development concerned Cyber Security and privacy in e-oriented world. This project introduce advanced Master’s curriculum in Cyber Security to teach the next generation experts, based on previous best practices in double degree implementation among EU universities, ECTS and mutual degree recognition.
