The Kharkiv office of “Plarium”, a computer game company, was today searched by the officers of the Main State Fiscal Service, reports mediaport.ua. According to the press secretary of the Prosecutor of Kharkiv region Victoria Dubovik, a search was conducted by officers of the Main State Fiscal Service of Ukraine in Kharkiv region with the participation of prosecutors.
“Investigative actions are sanctioned by the Kiev District Court. Pre-trial investigation is conducted under article 212 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (evasion of taxes),” said Victoria Dubovik.
The website siliconrus.com quotes the Creative Director of Plarium Global CIS Maxim Eremenko, who says that the office is running a routine checkup, and the information about illegal traffic of cash is unreliable.
He also denied information about the detention of CFO of the studio. “Our studio is working perfectly legal, with registration according to Labor Code, and we are proud of the contribution we are making to the development of Ukraine in the form of taxes and creating new jobs. Everything is ok,” told Eremenko for the siliconrus.com.
